DV8 Offroad — 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Rear Shock & Link Skid Plates
The DV8 Offroad Jeep Wrangler JK Rear Shock & Link Skid Plates provide bolt-on protection for the factory rear shock and link mounts. Their single-piece design reinforces the thin OE brackets and prevents damage from rocks and obstacles on the trail. These skids install easily, sit at the lowest point of the rear axle to help the Jeep slide over terrain, and work with most aftermarket shocks & lift kits. Piggyback shocks with fixed lower reservoirs are not compatible. Finished in a micro-texture black powder coat for durability.
2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Rear Shock & Link Skid Plates
Features
- 100% bolt-on application. Super easy install.
- Protects your links and shock mounts from smashing into rocks.
- Places a skid plate on the lowest part of the rear axles for better off-roading capabilities. Won't get caught on rocks, and will slide right off.
- Shock and link mount skids are a single piece, unlike some competitors who tie the two mounts together for strength.
- Will work with most aftermarket shocks (Piggyback reservoirs that are locked on the bottom will not fit)
- Will work with lift kits and aftermarket links using Johnny Joints and Heim connections.
- Reinforces the thin factory shock mounts.
- Micro-Texture Black Powder Coat Finish
Fitment: Verify application before ordering. Contact OGWG Off-Road for build-spec support.
